Futuristic looking fan with very flexible airflow

This fan definitely falls into the ��interesting gadget�� category. When I first set it up I thought it looked a little like something from The Jetsons with the circular ring and the display in the middle. It stands a little over three feet tall and the build quality feels solid for something with such a modern design. The beige color is also really nice. It��s a subtle tan that blends in easily with most rooms instead of standing out like some darker tower fans.Setup was simple. The base comes in two pieces that twist together and the column locks in place, so it only took a few minutes to put together.Right now I��m still in the figuring-out stage with it because there are quite a few airflow options and settings. The top ring is split into two sections that can move independently, so you can angle the airflow up, down, or have each side moving differently. That��s honestly the coolest part of this fan. It lets you move air around a room instead of just blowing straight ahead like a typical fan.For my situation, I placed it beside my chair in a small bedroom. My husband does not like air blowing directly in his face, so I needed something that could circulate air around my area without aiming straight across the room. This design works really well for that. I can adjust the airflow so it stays mostly around me.Noise level was something I was paying attention to and at lower speeds it��s very quiet. It produces more of a soft white-noise type sound instead of the harsher fan noise you sometimes get. I can easily doze off in the chair with it running and it doesn��t bother me at all. Higher speeds are louder, but that��s expected when you��re moving more air.One thing worth mentioning is that ��bladeless�� doesn��t mean there isn��t a fan mechanism at all. Like most designs in this category, the fan that actually moves the air is hidden in the base. It pulls air in and pushes it up through the column and out through the ring at the top, which creates the smooth airflow.The controls took a few minutes to understand because there are several speeds, modes, and oscillation options. It reminds me of appliances like pressure cookers or air fryers that offer lots of different functions. In reality you��ll probably use the same few settings most of the time, but it��s nice to have the other options available when you want them.The display also shows the room temperature. Mine was reading about 70��F and that felt like a comfortable reference point. One feature I do wish it had would be the ability to shut off automatically once the room reaches a set temperature. Some humidifiers work that way where they maintain a target level and then go into a sleep mode once it��s reached. That would have been a really nice addition here.Since it��s not Arizona summer yet, I can��t fully judge how it will perform during peak heat, but in a small bedroom it circulates air well and keeps my sitting area comfortable.It��s definitely a premium priced fan, but the unusual airflow design, the independent movement of the two ring sections, and the overall build make it feel more like a specialty circulation fan than a basic tower fan. Overall it��s a very unique looking fan with a lot of flexibility in how the airflow can be directed.

Smart, automated, wifi-controlled bladeless fan. Safer, quieter, easier to clean than a bladed fan.

This review is for Dreame Bladeless Fan MF10 (2026/3/4)Pros:# Smart bladeless fan with 10 speeds. It automatically change the speed and directions of airflow with changes in temperatures (photo 1,2).# Keeps a space cool without the louder noise, uneven airflow of a bladed fan.# Can be easily moved by lifting. 40 inches high, 6.3 kg or 14 pounds.# Heavy circular base. Not easily tipped over. Less likely to fall on pets or small children causing injuries.# Much quieter. It is much quieter than a bladed fan. I sleep with it running.I use it instead of my window air conditioner which is much louder and noisier. The air conditioner wakes me up multiple times when it turns the compressor on after off.# Saves electricity, saves money. Uses 120v x .8 amp= 96 watts compared to 1000 to 2000 watts of a window air conditioner.# Much safer. No worries about the little kids getting their fingers cut by the rotating fan blades in a cage or the flying detached ceiling fan blade cutting, disfiguring your face.# Child lock function on screen to disable the keys.# I find it much easier and quicker to clean than a fan with blades inside a cage. Just spray the surfaces with a cleaner and wipe with disposable paper towels.# 10 speed settings, 01 to 10. I choose speed 10 to dry my carpet after shampooing, 3 for laying down watching TV.# Its webpage on Amazon has 3 detailed videos on how to install, connect to app, use the fan.I learn more from these videos than the paper user manual.# Fan halves can rotate 180 degrees left to right, 90 degrees up and down, individually or together. Airflow is about 270 degrees across horizontally.# 3 airflow modes.# 4 ways to control. The circular led panel, the handheld remote, my phone with the app or voice.# Smart software adjusts airflows to changes in temperatures. I do not have to manually adjust the speed or directions of airflow with changes.# I recommend downloading the "Dreamehome app" from Google Play Store (photo 3). The app gives controls of the fan not available in the remote. The remote has a line of sight range of may be 30 feet. My phone can control the fan from anywhere in the USA as long as the fan and the phone are connected by internet to each other.My home wifi connects to the mobile data of the phone to provide internet access.# After installing the app, I quickly logged in using my Google account on my phone, instead of creating a new username and password. Turned fan on. Turned on location, Bluetooth, wifi on the phone. I followed the instructions for the app on my phone screen, entered the password to my wifi. The app works with 2.4 Ghz wifi, not 5 Ghz.Touched and held the power icon ( keyhole icon) on fan screen for about 5 seconds until wifi icon flashed. On the phone "Pair new device" screen, select "dreamebt". Wait for pairing to finish (photo 4,5,6).I turned off the Bluetooth on phone after pairing because it is no longer needed.# Has a washable, reusable prefilter at the bottom air inlet. I just spray the prefilter with cleaner and water in the sink to rinse off the dusts and fibers.It allows me to add a cut-to-fit Filtrete hammock filter that a round bladed fan in a cage does not.

A very expensive fan with mid-range functionality

Short summary: this is a pretty expensive fan, however you do get some high quality features such as the left and right independently vertically rotating or oscillating top portions. The fan does move a decent amount of air and at low speeds is quiet enough to include in a bedroom at night. I do not think I would purchase this again at the full purchase price I would wait for the price to come down or for a sale I think my maximum price point is probably around $150.I originally got this thinking that this was sort of a desk fan something that probably wasn't much higher than a foot and a half or so... I guess I was really paying attention to any of the dimension details in the listing and I was relying to heavily on the photos especially the one that shows the tiny little fan in the back of the living room blowing on the family sitting on the couch which makes it look small by perspective...#1: this is not small this stands about 3 to 3 1/2 ft#2: while this is technically bladeless in the traditional sense I believe that's a bit of a misnomer. Play this technology often uses ionic technology to move air, this has a rotating fan blade in the base station that pushes air up the center column and through the side ports of the bladeless housing at the top. So yes it is bladeless in that sense.#3: at low speed volumes this does not make a ton of noise at the highest volume it does make a noticeable amount of noise, so much so that it keeps my wife up at night.#4: this was pretty easy to put together. Simply snap all of the mated pieces together and we had it assembled and probably under 3 minutes. I am a little frustrated with that tiny little screwdriver that they put in the package as it did not give enough torque to put in the screws on the base without hurting my hand. Highly recommend you get a real screwdriver to deal with those screws.#5: The remote control operation took about 4 minutes to figure out how to use correctly it's not very intuitive.#6: well I understand the rotating features of the horizontal plane rotation I don't think I understand the independent rotations for the verticals 1/2 of the blade moves up and down independent of the other one. I could understand if there's a thought that the movement of the air up and down is pushing the hot air from the ceiling down and creating better circulation, but to be honest it feels kind of gimmicky.Overall conclusion: I think this is a very decent high quality fan it's certainly very unique and it does move air as advertised. I would never purchase this fan at the full listing price which I believe is around $200-300. I'd probably be willing to spend $150 at most. You will not be disappointed I believe with the build quality or the functionality it's just that really high price point for a not truly bladeless fan system (again, the blades are technically in the base of the fan and you can clearly see it when you're assembling it)

Innovative, versatile good looking bladeless fan

DREAME makes quality products for the home and this bladeless fan is no exception. The fan came in a well protected cardboard box with three different parts packaged well. It is very easy to put together and also comes with a well written simple instruction manual. It comes with a small screwdriver and two small disassembly tools as well. Didn��t find the screwdriver useful though. It has provision for an air filter but didn��t come with one. Apart from the two small nits, the fan looks and works great.The Dreamehome app is fairly easy to use but getting the fan connect to the app and then the network took multiple tries before it could get onto the home 2.4kHz network that I have set up for home devices. Once on, the app worked flawlessly to control the fan. The unique and innovative feature of the fan are the two disconnected wing frames which can rotate on its axis providing air flow both up and down on either side in addition to the fan itself rotating 180 degrees side to side thus covering a larger area than other name brand fans. The fan itself even at its highest speed of 10 is reasonably quiet while the airflow is strong enough to be felt across our mid sized living room.Price-wise, it is not cheap but very competitive with high end name brand bladeless fans. Feature-wise, it matches up if not exceed many of them. Just wish they had packaged it with the filter as well and not make the customer look for one after buying what is a premium product.Overall, very happy with the fan otherwise and can certainly recommend it.

A whisper-quiet breeze for the whole room

I thought the setup for this DREAME bladeless fan would be a nightmare or that the 270�� spatial airflow was just a fancy way of saying it turns side-to-side like a normal fan. After a few days of it sitting in the living room, my spouse finally plugged it in to give the temperature-adaptive mode a real test run. The reality of what actually happened was a total relief because the air circulation is exceptionally smooth and consistent, and the unit feels much more substantial and grounded than the shaky, plastic pedestal fans we��ve used in the past that usually rattle after an hour.Since we have two kids who are always running around, having a bladeless design is a huge help in our busy household for that extra peace of mind. The beige finish has a specific, high-end look that actually blends into our decor, and the washable filter is a massive bonus for keeping the air fresh. There is a satisfying, high-tech hum when the motor kicks in, and the digital display is clear enough to read from across the room without being a bright distraction at night.Initially, I found the 270�� oscillation to be a little bit wide for our smaller guest room, but the remote allows me to dial in a specific angle that works perfectly. Even though it is a powerful whole-room circulator, the Smarter Wind mode is remarkably intuitive. To answer the real-world utility question, the lowest settings are virtually silent, so I can keep the air moving in the early morning without making enough noise to wake a teenager sleeping on the couch nearby.
